Weekly Report (Feb 9–15, 2026)
Hey everyone, welcome back to your weekly breakdown of the numbers hitting the TCGPlayer marketplace. We’ve just wrapped up the week of February 9–15, 2026, and it was a busy one with over 6,641 units moving across 5,638 orders. Total item revenue for the week hit a healthy $704,108.02, while the median price across the board stayed relatively flat with a tiny 0.68% nudge upward.
Weekly Market Pulse
The general vibe this week was one of high-volume movement, particularly in the newer Universes Beyond sets. While we saw some major price corrections on upcoming releases, the established staples and recent Commander precons are showing some real teeth. We’re tracking a total of 10 probable data artifacts and 10 instances of low-coverage supply, so as always, I’ll be sure to point out where the numbers might be a little fuzzy.
Top Gainers
Commander precons are definitely having a moment right now. Leading the pack is the Bloomburrow Commander Deck Peace Offering, which saw a price increase of 13.44% (VWAP $40.61 -> $46.07). This move comes as the average supply quantity dipped slightly by 4.4% (116.9 -> 111.7 units), suggesting that steady demand is starting to outpace the available listings.
Close behind is the Edge of Eternities Commander Deck Counter Intelligence, jumping 12.72% (VWAP $28.73 -> $32.39). Interestingly, this price hike happened despite a supply increase of 14.85% (avg qty 152.0 -> 174.6), which usually indicates very aggressive buying power.
A quick heads-up on the Universes Beyond Fallout Scrappy Survivors Commander Deck—it shows a 9.1% gain ($63.93 -> $69.75), but our data quality flags are screaming “low confidence” here. Between low_coverage_supply and probable_data_artifact flags being triggered, I wouldn’t go betting the farm on this specific price jump just yet.
Other notable movers include:
- Magic The Gathering Foundations Play Booster Display: Up 8.67% (VWAP $173.24 -> $188.26). This is driven by a massive supply tightening, with the average quantity on the market falling 51.43% (20.0 -> 9.7 units).
- FINAL FANTASY VI Revival Trance Commander Deck: Up 8.44% (VWAP $32.59 -> $35.34). Demand is picking up here as supply sellers dropped 38.73% (49.4 -> 30.3 sellers).
Top Decliners
It wasn’t all green across the board, especially for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) releases. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Prerelease Pack took the biggest hit, sliding 22.66% (VWAP $49.29 -> $38.12). However, don’t let the price drop fool you; the volume was massive, with units sold jumping from 50 last week to 230 this week.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Bundle followed a similar path, dropping 20.11% (VWAP $182.72 -> $145.98). This is a classic case of supply meeting demand—the average supply quantity surged 63.4% (195.1 -> 318.9 units).
Even the classics aren’t immune to shifts. The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander Decks (Set of 4) saw a 16.3% decline (VWAP $328.16 -> $274.66). Despite the price drop, sell-through remains high at 2.31, suggesting that buyers are happily scooping these up at the lower entry point.
Supply & Velocity Read-Through
The biggest story in supply this week is a broad restock for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander Deck Turtle Power. The metrics show a supply jump of 81.96% (avg qty 125.1 -> 227.7) accompanied by a 66.2% increase in the number of sellers (10.1 -> 16.9). Usually, a restock like this would tank the price, and it did slip 12.6% ($58.14 -> $50.81), but the sell-through velocity is an insane 3.59. People want these turtles!
On the flip side, keep an eye on Magic The Gathering Foundations Play Booster Displays. As mentioned, the supply is drying up fast (down 51.43%), and the sell-through rate has doubled to 4.01 (last week 2.15). When you see sell-through that high on a shrinking pile of boxes, it’s a clear signal that the market is hungry.
Lastly, the Lorwyn Eclipsed Collector Booster Packs are seeing a “low-confidence supply move.” The average quantity dropped 49.63% (291.0 -> 146.6), but with a spike_driven_supply flag, this looks more like a few large sellers delisting or selling out rather than a gradual market-wide drain.
What to Watch Next Week
Heading into next week, all eyes should be on Foundations Play Booster Displays. With supply reaching a low of just 3.0 units at one point this week and prices trending up, we’re approaching a potential squeeze point. I’m also watching the TMNT Turtle Power deck; if that high sell-through continues, the recent restock might be absorbed much faster than expected.
See you on the floor next week.
Best,
Calculation Notes & Disclaimers
- Metrics are based on MTGsold internal sales/listing snapshots for the report window only.
avg qty= average of daily inventory (most complete scrape per day, by seller coverage), not a sum of all intraday listings.sell-through=units sold this week / avg qty this week; values above 1 indicate inventory turned over multiple times.- Percentage changes are week-over-week versus the prior-week baseline; very small baselines can exaggerate % moves.
- Listings are marketplace snapshots and may include relists, temporary removals, and scrape gaps, so flagged low-confidence moves should be treated cautiously.
- Marketplace sections are segmented to avoid cross-stream blending of metrics.
