Weekly Report (Feb 16–22, 2026)

Hey everyone, and welcome back to the MTGsold.com weekly market report! We’re here to dive into the data for the week of February 16th to February 22nd, 2026, examining the trends on TCGPlayer.

Weekly Market Pulse

This past week saw a lot of movement across the board, with our analytics tracking 71 distinct products. Total units sold reached 7,486 across 6,325 orders, generating $862,904.14 in item revenue. The median price change was a modest increase of +0.49% for the week. However, individual product shifts were far more dramatic, with our top gainer spiking +23.84% and the steepest decliner dropping -14.69%. We also noted 15 probable restock signals and 8 instances of low-confidence supply data, which we’ll highlight where relevant.

Top Gainers

This week’s biggest movers upward saw several Commander decks and a new bundle making significant gains:

  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle surged, increasing by +23.84% (VWAP item price $52.30 -> $64.77). This price jump occurred even as units sold decreased from 428 last week to 210 this week.
  • Tarkir Dragonstorm Commander Deck Temur Roar saw a healthy +15.07% (VWAP item price $46.72 -> $53.76). Units sold decreased from 50 to 27 this week, while the average supply quantity remained relatively stable at 74.3 last week to 74.1 this week.
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander Deck Turtle Power climbed +13.21% (VWAP item price $50.81 -> $57.53). This deck also saw a significant increase in units sold, going from 818 last week to 1389 this week, alongside a substantial increase in average supply quantity of +104.08% (avg qty 227.7 -> 464.7).
  • FINAL FANTASY Commander Deck FINAL FANTASY VI Revival Trance was up +10.52% (VWAP item price $35.34 -> $39.06). We observed a probable restock signal for this product, with average supply quantity increasing by +54.53% (avg qty 143.6 -> 221.9), suggesting a broad restock for this product.
  • The Bloomburrow Commander Deck Squirreled Away rose +7.77% (VWAP item price $45.77 -> $49.33). Units sold decreased from 29 last week to 21 this week.

Top Decliners

Not every product saw green this week; here are some of the most notable price drops:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Draft Night was our biggest decliner, dropping -14.69% (VWAP item price $110.74 -> $94.47). This product showed a probable restock signal with a large increase in average supply quantity of +68.77% (avg qty 111.1 -> 187.6).
  • The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle earth Commander Decks Set of 4 decreased by -8.03% (VWAP item price $274.66 -> $252.60). Despite the price drop, units sold increased from 42 to 50 this week, and we noted a probable restock signal for this product, with a +75.59% increase in average supply quantity (avg qty 18.1 -> 31.9).
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Prerelease Pack fell -6.97% (VWAP item price $38.12 -> $35.47). This also showed a probable restock signal, with units sold more than doubling from 230 last week to 548 this week, alongside a +51.72% increase in average supply quantity (avg qty 132.6 -> 201.1).
  • The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle earth Commander Deck Elven Council declined by -6.21% (VWAP item price $67.18 -> $63.01). Units sold dropped from 56 to 23 this week, but average supply quantity increased by +125.97% (avg qty 22.0 -> 49.7), indicating a probable restock signal here.
  • The Avatar The Last Airbender Bundle dipped -6.07% (VWAP item price $60.82 -> $57.13). While units sold decreased from 37 to 32, the average supply quantity increased by +46.32% (avg qty 58.3 -> 85.3).

Supply/Velocity Read-Through

Looking at supply and velocity, we see interesting dynamics:

Several products flagged with low_coverage_supply or probable_data_artifact show very low confidence for supply movements, such as Universes Beyond Fallout Science Commander Deck (price +6.1%, units 24 -> 22) and Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Decks Set of 2 (price -5.54%, units 128 -> 127). For these items, reliable supply trends are uncertain due to data coverage issues.

On the other hand, some items show strong indications of broad restocks:

  • Bloomburrow Play Booster Display (price -1.02%, units 117 -> 108) experienced a probable restock signal, with average supply quantity increasing significantly by +143.54% (avg qty 110.6 -> 269.3).
  • Similarly, the Magic The Gathering Foundations Play Booster Display (price -3.17%, units 39 -> 41) also had a probable restock signal, showing a +151.47% increase in average supply quantity (avg qty 9.7 -> 24.4), although the baseline_small_supply flag suggests this percentage change might look exaggerated due to small baseline numbers.

In terms of supply tightening, several products showed notable decreases in average supply quantity:

  • Tarkir Dragonstorm Collector Booster Pack (price +0.51%, units 28 -> 36) saw its average supply quantity drop by -27.44% (avg qty 108.3 -> 78.6), indicating a tightening supply as units sold increased.
  • Innistrad Remastered Play Booster Display (price +2.70%, units 21 -> 28) also experienced a supply quantity decrease of -26.49% (avg qty 38.3 -> 28.1).
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle (price +23.84%, units 428 -> 210) from our top gainers also appeared here with a supply quantity delta of -11.72% (avg qty 107.3 -> 94.7), suggesting the price increase might be partially driven by reduced available stock.

What to Watch Next Week

The upcoming release of several Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products on March 6th, 2026, could continue to influence market dynamics for the set. Keep an eye on the supply and pricing trends for these new items as they settle into the market. Additionally, with 15 probable restock signals detected this week, we might see continued price adjustments for these products as more inventory becomes available to meet demand.

That’s all for this week’s market update!

Happy trading,

Calculation Notes & Disclaimers

  • Metrics are based on MTGsold internal sales/listing snapshots for the report window only.
  • avg qty = average of daily inventory (most complete scrape per day, by seller coverage), not a sum of all intraday listings.
  • sell-through = units sold this week / avg qty this week; values above 1 indicate inventory turned over multiple times.
  • Percentage changes are week-over-week versus the prior-week baseline; very small baselines can exaggerate % moves.
  • Listings are marketplace snapshots and may include relists, temporary removals, and scrape gaps, so flagged low-confidence moves should be treated cautiously.
  • Marketplace sections are segmented to avoid cross-stream blending of metrics.
