Weekly Report (Jun 29–Jul 5, 2026)
Weekly Market Pulse
Holiday week and the first full week post-release for Marvel Super Heroes. TCGPlayer moved $899,711 across 5,812 units and 4,733 orders, down 10.3% in revenue and 21.0% in units from last week. Most of the dip landed on the July 4th weekend: Saturday and Sunday averaged 780 units and $96K/day, while Monday through Friday ran 1,008 to 1,259 units at $137K to $182K/day. Volume fell but the mix shifted upmarket: average sale price climbed from roughly $136 to $155 as collector-tier products carried more of the total.
The revenue leaderboard reshuffled. Marvel Super Heroes Collector Booster Display still leads at $155,652 on 341 units (VWAP $456.46), but The Hobbit Collector Booster Display jumped to #2 at $116,314 on 152 units (VWAP $765.22, up 5.5%), nearly doubling from 83 units last week. FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Display came in third at $91,868 on 63 units at a $1,458 VWAP, the highest per-unit price in the cohort. Those three collector displays alone accounted for over 40% of total cohort revenue on 556 combined units.
The sell-through table contracted to five products above 1.0, down from seven last week. Notably, Avengers Assemble and Doom Prevails, which were posting 3.78x and 3.27x sell-through last week, both fell off the table after absorbing a second round of restocks. Jumpstart Booster Display remains the outlier at 3.33x on just 44.5 avg qty, with the WotC and distributor supply constraint still in effect.
In other WotC news this week: bans were announced for Candelabra of Tawnos in Legacy, Seeker of Skybreak in Pauper, and six cards in Brawl including Force of Will. The $199.99 Festival in a Box: Amsterdam 2026 bundle releases July 13, featuring a Mystery Booster 2 box and exclusive Secret Lair. MTG Arena also launched Arena Direct Sealed events running through July 21.

Top Gainers
Marvel Super Heroes Jumpstart Booster Display extended the supply crunch: VWAP $128.57 -> $154.44 (+20.12%) on 148 units and $22,857 in revenue across 122 orders. Avg qty dropped from 52.2 -> 44.5 (-14.74%), breaking below the 50-unit threshold we flagged last week. Seller count ticked up from 14.9 to 17.0, meaning new sellers are entering but inventory is getting absorbed faster than it is being replenished. Sell-through 3.3276. The WotC and distributor supply constraint remains in effect on this product: while every other Marvel SKU has been restocked over the past two weeks, Jumpstart continues to lose inventory. At 44.5 avg qty with 3.3x sell-through, the supply runway is measured in days.
Edge of Eternities Commander Deck World Shaper gained VWAP $40.97 -> $47.87 (+16.84%) on 32 units and $1,532 in revenue across 32 orders. Supply held steady at avg qty 146.6 (from 151.9), sellers 54.7 (from 56.9). Sell-through 0.2183 is modest. The price gain appears demand-driven rather than supply-driven, which is a less reliable signal at 32 units. Treat as directional.
FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Pack climbed VWAP $107.62 -> $125.57 (+16.68%) on 25 units and $3,139 in revenue across 13 orders. Supply is tightening: avg qty dropped from 119.6 -> 89.5 (-25.13%) and sellers fell from 22.9 to 17.6 (-22.92%). Sell-through 0.2793. The 13 orders on 25 units shows some multi-unit purchases. Both FINAL FANTASY collector products (pack and display) are tightening on supply simultaneously.
FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Display gained VWAP $1,275.72 -> $1,458.22 (+14.31%) on 63 units for $91,868 in revenue across 46 orders. At $1,458 per box this is the highest-priced product in the cohort and it is still finding consistent buyers. Supply contracted at avg qty 136.3 -> 106.9 (-21.59%), sellers 83.7 -> 72.6 (-13.31%). Sell-through 0.5893 is strong for a product at this price point. The FINAL FANTASY collector tier is now generating $95K+ in combined weekly revenue across pack and display, on coordinated supply drawdowns of 20-25%. This has been building quietly while Marvel dominated the headlines.
Marvel Super Heroes Commander Deck The Fantastic Four bounced back: VWAP $54.76 -> $61.59 (+12.47%) on 186 units and $11,455 in revenue across 138 orders. Sell-through 1.1147 shows demand slightly exceeding supply. Avg qty eased from 179.7 -> 166.9 (-7.13%) while sellers grew from 29.5 to 38.3 (+29.68%), meaning more sellers are listing but inventory per seller is thinning. Last week this product dropped 20% on a restock wave; this week it recovered 12.5% as the restock absorbed. Of the four Marvel Commander decks, Fantastic Four has shown the most consistent demand profile across the restock cycle.
FINAL FANTASY Commander Deck FINAL FANTASY VII Limit Break rose VWAP $54.26 -> $60.12 (+10.80%) on 39 units and $2,345 in revenue across 39 orders. Supply gently declining at avg qty 196.7 -> 184.5 (-6.17%), sellers 86.3 -> 80.8 (-6.40%). Sell-through 0.2114. A slow grind higher as supply works down rather than a demand spike. Limit Break has been the strongest FINAL FANTASY Commander deck by VWAP for several weeks.
On Manapool, Foundations Play Booster Pack (Manapool) led gainers at +15.78% on 6 units. Avatar TLA Collector Booster Display (Manapool) gained +14.53% on 5 units. Marvel Commander Deck Wakanda Forever (Manapool) rose +13.90% on 4 units. FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Display (Manapool) added +13.16% on 5 units, and Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Booster Display (Manapool) gained +8.65% on 16 units. All single-digit unit counts except Lorwyn; directional only.
Top Decliners
Marvel Super Heroes Scene Box Villains Unleashed led decliners at VWAP $31.37 -> $26.22 (-16.42%) on 119 units and $3,120 in revenue across 114 orders. Sellers jumped from 61.4 to 79.8 (+30.02%) while avg qty eased from 666.3 -> 589.0 (-11.61%). Sell-through 0.2021. Third consecutive week on the decliner board. Supply is actually starting to contract as the seller count surge peaks, and volume increased from 66 to 119 units, suggesting the lower price is finally attracting bargain buyers. But at $26 with 589 units of inventory, there is still a long way to go before supply and demand equilibrate.
Marvel Super Heroes Scene Box Heroes United declined VWAP $31.49 -> $26.93 (-14.49%) on 127 units across 122 orders for $3,420 in revenue. Sellers grew from 53.0 to 69.7 (+31.56%), avg qty from 620.1 -> 545.9 (-11.97%). Sell-through 0.2326. Both Scene Boxes tracked each other identically again: growing seller count, shrinking inventory, sub-0.25 sell-through, and prices drifting below $27. Volume roughly doubled on both compared to last week (81 -> 127 on Heroes United, 66 -> 119 on Villains), which is the first sign that the lower price is generating incremental demand.
Marvel Super Heroes Scene Box Case declined VWAP $90.05 -> $77.30 (-14.16%) on 62 units for $4,793 in revenue across 41 orders. Avg qty dropped from 163.8 -> 136.9 (-16.45%) with sellers flat at 42.9. Sell-through 0.4530 is the healthiest of the three Scene Box SKUs. The case is holding up better than the individual boxes, but the gravity from the singles pricing is pulling it down.
Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Display Case slid VWAP $683.81 -> $632.53 (-7.50%) on 36 units for $22,771 in revenue across 31 orders. Supply grew at avg qty 73.3 -> 87.9 (+19.91%), sellers 31.5 -> 36.2 (+14.77%). Sell-through 0.4098 was not enough to absorb the added inventory. At $633 per case, even modest percentage moves represent real dollars.
Marvel Super Heroes Commander Deck Doom Prevails continued its post-restock correction at VWAP $100.06 -> $93.15 (-6.91%) on 147 units for $13,693 in revenue across 146 orders. The second restock wave hit hard: avg qty from 87.3 -> 160.0 (+83.25%), sellers from 20.8 to 44.7 (+114.65%). Sell-through 0.9190 shows the new supply is being absorbed at the lower price. Two weeks ago this product was at $115.97 with 3.15x sell-through and 54.6 avg qty; the restocks brought it to $93 with 0.92x and 160 avg qty. The crunch resolved. The demand did not disappear, it just has adequate supply now.
Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease Pack eased VWAP $30.45 -> $28.65 (-5.91%) on 329 units for $9,425 in revenue across 218 orders. Avg qty remains massive at 913.0 (from 961.4, -5.04%), sellers steady at 52.6. Sell-through 0.3604. The supply overhang is gently working down but at 913 units of inventory with 329 moving per week, the existing supply base alone would take nearly three weeks to clear without new listings.
On Manapool, Tarkir Dragonstorm Play Booster Display (Manapool) led decliners at -11.07% on 7 units. Bloomburrow Play Booster Pack (Manapool) declined -9.00% on 10 units. Marvel Bundle (Manapool) dropped -7.97% on 4 units. Marvel Commander Deck Doom Prevails (Manapool) slid -6.83% on 11 units, tracking the TCGPlayer restock pattern. Tarkir Dragonstorm Collector Booster Pack (Manapool) dipped -6.65% on 4 units.
Supply / Velocity Read-Through
Five products above 1.0 sell-through, down from seven last week and nine two weeks ago. The contraction tells the story of Marvel’s post-release normalization. Avengers Assemble and Doom Prevails, which were holding above 3.0 sell-through through last week’s first restock wave, both fell off the table after absorbing a second wave this week. Avengers Assemble saw avg qty more than double from 66.2 -> 149.8 (+126.15%) with sellers growing from 16.1 to 42.0; sell-through dropped to 0.89. Doom Prevails grew from 87.3 -> 160.0 (+83.25%), sellers from 20.8 to 44.7; sell-through fell to 0.92. Both are absorbing at healthy rates near 1:1, but the structural crunch that defined the prerelease and release periods is over for these two products.
Jumpstart Booster Display (3.33x, avg qty 44.5) is now the lone product above 2.0 sell-through, and the only Marvel product where the WotC and distributor supply constraint remains in effect. Every other Marvel SKU received restocks. Jumpstart lost another 15% of its inventory. At 44.5 avg qty with 17.0 sellers, the product broke below the 50-unit threshold we identified as the scarcity trigger. VWAP moved from $128.57 to $154.44 in one week. If supply continues to drain at this rate, the next price leg could push toward $170-180.
Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Deck Veloci Ramp Tor (1.43x, avg qty 50.3) is a new entrant on the sell-through table, with supply contracting 25.5% and sellers declining 11.4%. At $104.90 VWAP on 72 units, this is a quiet crunch on an older product. The Hobbit Collector Booster Display (1.06x, avg qty 143.5) also entered the table as volume nearly doubled from 83 to 152 units at $765 VWAP.
Follow-up on prior tracking threads: Chocobo Bundle bounced back to $294.82 (+3.0%), supply down to 96.1, sellers at 51.0. The $280 test we flagged last week did not materialize; the product held above $285 and recovered. The breakout thesis is holding and the $285-295 range looks like the equilibrium. Strixhaven Bundle dropped another 5.6% to $38.50, supply slightly down to 476.7, sell-through 0.27. The floor is still not found; this has now dropped from $42.65 to $38.50 over two weeks. Avatar TLA Collector Booster Display continued tightening at $419.01 (+2.1%), supply down 17.1% to 175.9, though the pack dropped below the reporting threshold this week. Duskmourn Endless Punishment Commander Deck also dropped below the reporting threshold. Volume went quiet; no new data to evaluate. Wakanda Forever stabilized at $53.37 (+0.3%), sell-through 0.86, avg qty 208.8 (down 6.9%). The post-restock level appears to be holding in the low $50s.
| Product | Sell-Through | Avg Qty | Supply Δ | Sellers Δ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marvel Jumpstart Booster Display | 3.3276 | 44.5 | -14.74% | +14.07% |
| Lost Caverns Cmdr Veloci Ramp Tor | 1.4318 | 50.3 | -25.48% | -11.44% |
| Marvel Coll Booster Display | 1.1830 | 288.2 | -2.58% | +26.56% |
| Marvel Cmdr Fantastic Four | 1.1147 | 166.9 | -7.13% | +29.68% |
| The Hobbit Coll Booster Display | 1.0594 | 143.5 | +2.03% | -34.14% |
Tightest inventory: Jumpstart Booster Display (44.5 avg qty, 3.33x, WotC/distributor constrained), Lost Caverns Veloci Ramp Tor (50.3 avg qty, 1.43x), FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Pack (89.5 avg qty, supply down 25.1%, not on the sell-through table but contracting fast).
Heaviest inventory: Prerelease Pack (913.0 avg qty, sell-through 0.36), Play Booster Display (1,032.1 avg qty, sell-through 0.62, supply grew 31% as post-release inventory continues building), Scene Box Villains Unleashed (589.0 avg qty, sell-through 0.20), Scene Box Heroes United (545.9 avg qty, sell-through 0.23). Play Booster Display crossed 1,000 avg qty for the first time, though sell-through remains healthy enough that the inventory is not stagnant.
Washington led seller geography at 17.2% of total supply, with Seattle alone at 17,918 units. California followed at 8.4%, Idaho at 7.0%, New York at 6.5%, Florida at 4.9%. South Williamson, KY held #2 city at 4,155 units. Tucson, AZ entered at #3 with 3,358 units. Coverage 100% across 497 sellers.
Doom Prevails carries a probable restock signal flag; the -6.91% decline reflects the second restock wave in two weeks rather than demand weakness. Edge of Eternities World Shaper (32 units, 0.22 sell-through) and FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Pack (25 units, 13 orders) traded thin volume; treat percentage gains as directional. Duskmourn Endless Punishment Commander Deck and Avatar TLA Collector Booster Pack dropped below the reporting threshold this week. Volume went quiet on both; this does not confirm or refute any prior price thesis.
Opinionated Takeaways
The Commander Deck Crunch Resolved, Except for Jumpstart
Three weeks ago, four Marvel products were posting above 3.0 sell-through. Now only Jumpstart is. Avengers Assemble and Doom Prevails both absorbed two consecutive weeks of restocks and settled near 0.9x sell-through at $68 and $93 respectively. The supply chain caught up on those products. Jumpstart is the exception because the WotC constraint is external to the normal restock cycle. At 44.5 avg qty and $154 VWAP, this is no longer just the tightest Marvel product. It is the tightest product in the entire dataset, and the constraint has no visible timeline for resolution.
FINAL FANTASY Collector Tier Built a $95K Weekly Revenue Business While Nobody Was Watching
The Collector Booster Display at $1,458 VWAP moved $91,868 in revenue on 63 units. The Pack at $125.57 added $3,139 on 25 units. Both saw supply contract 20-25% with sellers declining double digits. This is the same curve that Marvel collector products followed at launch, but on a product line that is further from its release window and tightening without any event catalyst. At 106.9 avg qty and 0.59 sell-through on the Display, the supply drawdown is gradual rather than acute, which makes the price trajectory more sustainable and less likely to reverse on a single restock.
Scene Boxes Found Buyers at $26, But Not Enough of Them
Both Scene Boxes broke below $27 and volume roughly doubled (66 -> 119 on Villains, 81 -> 127 on Heroes). The lower price is generating incremental demand. But sell-through is still only 0.20-0.23 with 545-589 units of inventory. The math improves from here only if new seller entry slows and the bargain-buyer demand sustains. The inventory is contracting for the first time, which is a small positive, but calling a floor at $26 would be premature.
Holiday Dip, Not a Trend Break
The 21% unit decline looks dramatic but July 4th landing on Saturday crushed the weekend. Weekday revenue averaged $157K/day, in line with prior weeks. Average sale price actually climbed from $136 to $155 as the buyer mix shifted toward collector-tier products. Unless next week’s numbers also decline, this reads as a one-week seasonal dip rather than the start of a Marvel cooldown.
What To Watch Next Week
Jumpstart Booster Display below 40 avg qty. Dropped from 52.2 to 44.5 this week, VWAP up 20% to $154.44. If inventory drops below 40 next week, the next price leg could push toward $170-180. Seller count above 17 suggests new entrants are trying to participate, but they cannot list what does not exist.
Post-holiday volume recovery. Weekday revenue ran $137K-182K this week. If next week recovers to the $150K+ daily baseline with units above 6,000, the July 4th dip was seasonal. If volume stays depressed, the post-release honeymoon may be ending.
FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Display above $1,500. At $1,458 with supply down 21.6% and sell-through at 0.59, the trajectory points toward $1,500+ if the drawdown continues. If seller count stabilizes or supply plateaus, the move stalls.
Scene Box demand at $26. Volume doubled at the lower price. If sell-through improves to 0.30+ next week, the floor may be forming. If it stays at 0.20-0.23, sub-$24 is plausible.
Strixhaven Bundle. Down 5.6% to $38.50. Has now dropped from $42.65 to $38.50 over two weeks after the decline appeared to be slowing. If it breaks below $37 next week, the floor is lower than $38-40.

Calculation Notes & Disclaimers
- Metrics are based on MTGsold internal sales/listing snapshots for the report window only.
avg qty= average of daily inventory (most complete scrape per day, by seller coverage), not a sum of all intraday listings.sell-through=units sold this week / avg qty this week; values above 1 indicate inventory turned over multiple times.- Percentage changes are week-over-week versus the prior-week baseline; very small baselines can exaggerate % moves.
- Listings are marketplace snapshots and may include relists, temporary removals, and scrape gaps, so flagged low-confidence moves should be treated cautiously.
- Marketplace sections are segmented to avoid cross-stream blending of metrics.
