Weekly Report (May 25–31, 2026)

Weekly Market Pulse

TCGPlayer sealed moved 8,132 units for $1,335,466 in revenue across 5,799 orders this week — up 47% in units and 68% in revenue from last week. Those are big numbers, but the daily breakdown tells a more complicated story: May 29 posted roughly 4,700 units and $779K in revenue, about 6x the typical daily pace this week. May 29 was Mayhem, so that tracks — sale days always compress a few days of buying into one afternoon. Strip that out and the rest of the week ran pretty close to last week’s pace, so the 47%/68% growth numbers are more about Mayhem math than a genuine shift in tempo.

Marvel Super Heroes Collector Booster Display led the revenue board at $110,508 (235 units, VWAP $470.25), followed by Secret of Strixhaven Collector Booster Display at $81,372 (176 units, VWAP $462.34) and Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Display at $64,418 (502 units, VWAP $128.32). FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Display posted the highest per-unit price in the cohort at VWAP $1,172.79 across 49 units, bringing in $57,467. Meanwhile the Secrets of Strixhaven ecosystem showed up in force — the Codex Bundle ($56,008, 427 units) and Commander Deck Case ($44,993, 242 units) both cracked the top ten revenue list.

Top Gainers

Edge of Eternities Commander Deck Counter Intelligence leads TCGPlayer gainers this week with VWAP $29.38 -> $34.52 (+17.49%) on 32 units and $1,105 in revenue across 32 orders. Supply is gradually tightening — avg qty 236.0 -> 212.4 (-10.00%) with sellers pulling back from 83.2 to 78.5 (-5.65%). Sell-through of 0.1506 isn’t aggressive, but the steady inventory draw paired with a clean break above $34 shows this individual deck is holding demand as the broader Edge of Eternities set finds its footing.

Yuna Hope of Spira Borderless Chocobo Track Foil posted VWAP $103.41 -> $118.61 (+14.70%) on 50 units and $5,931 in revenue across 48 orders. No supply snapshot data is available for this product, so I can’t confirm whether the price move is scarcity-driven or demand-driven. Treat this one as low confidence — the baseline supply data is too thin to read anything into the move beyond the price itself.

FINAL FANTASY Chocobo Bundle
FINAL FANTASY Chocobo Bundle
$18,935 weekly revenue

FINAL FANTASY Chocobo Bundle climbed VWAP $209.94 -> $239.68 (+14.17%) on 79 units and $18,935 in revenue across 52 orders. The supply picture backs this move up: avg qty 154.3 -> 124.2 (-19.50%) and sellers dropped sharply from 69.3 to 50.5 (-27.11%). Sell-through of 0.6361 confirms that demand is absorbing new listings at a healthy clip. The combination of a meaningful seller exodus and consistent unit volume makes this one of the stronger signals in the gainers this week.

Secrets of Strixhaven Commander Deck Lorehold Spirit moved VWAP $34.63 -> $39.20 (+13.18%) on 74 units and $2,901 in revenue across 68 orders. Inventory is drawing down — avg qty 255.3 -> 226.6 (-11.23%) — though the seller count held relatively stable at 60.3 to 58.3 (-3.43%). Sell-through of 0.3265 is moderate. The Strixhaven Commander decks are showing up across several metrics this week (the Deck Case also makes the sell-through leaderboard), so there may be set-level demand lifting individual SKUs.

Edge of Eternities Commander Decks Set of 2 gained VWAP $59.46 -> $65.51 (+10.17%) on 53 units and $3,472 in revenue across 49 orders. Supply contracted meaningfully — avg qty 104.8 -> 86.1 (-17.82%) with sellers down from 25.1 to 22.6 (-9.96%). Sell-through of 0.6157 is solid, meaning new listings are being absorbed before they can pile up. This is the second Edge of Eternities product in the gainers, joining the Counter Intelligence deck above.

Edge of Eternities Play Booster Display rounds out the gainers at VWAP $126.22 -> $136.49 (+8.14%) on 172 units and $23,476 in revenue across 142 orders — the highest volume among all gainers. This one reads differently from the other Edge of Eternities products: supply is actually growing, avg qty 221.1 -> 295.8 (+33.78%), yet the price still climbed. Seller count held flat at 67.8 to 69.0 (+1.79%). Sell-through of 0.5815 shows demand is keeping pace with the supply influx, but the growing inventory pool is worth watching. Three Edge of Eternities products in the gainers makes this a set-wide trend, not isolated SKU action.

On Manapool, FINAL FANTASY Play Booster Pack (Manapool) posted the biggest percentage gain at VWAP $5.91 -> $9.00 (+52.23%), though on just 4 units and $36 in revenue — too thin to mean much. Universes Beyond The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle earth Set Booster Pack (Manapool) climbed VWAP $9.91 -> $13.47 (+35.93%) on 14 units. Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Deck Blight Curse (Manapool) was up VWAP $27.05 -> $30.34 (+12.14%) on 6 units — an interesting contrast to its TCGPlayer price decline. Bloomburrow Play Booster Pack (Manapool) edged up VWAP $5.43 -> $5.99 (+10.30%) on 5 units, and Edge of Eternities Commander Deck World Shaper (Manapool) gained VWAP $41.48 -> $45.62 (+9.96%) on 3 units.

Price movers — week over week

Top Decliners

Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Deck Blight Curse led TCGPlayer decliners at VWAP $32.30 -> $28.09 (-13.05%) on 34 units and $955 in revenue across 30 orders. Supply is moving the wrong direction — avg qty 327.5 -> 376.3 (+14.88%) with sellers ticking up from 82.7 to 85.8 (+3.73%). Sell-through of 0.0904 means new supply is piling up with very little being absorbed. More sellers, more inventory, falling price — a straightforward oversupply situation.

Commander Masters Collector Booster Box fell VWAP $403.34 -> $371.60 (-7.87%) but moved 139 units for $51,653 in revenue across 85 orders — a heavyweight on the revenue board despite the price decline. The supply picture tells a very different story from the price: avg qty 44.4 -> 36.0 (-19.03%), sellers dropped from 24.8 to 21.3 (-14.19%), and sell-through hit 3.8662. Demand outpaced new supply nearly 4x. Inventory is draining fast despite the falling price — buyers appear to be absorbing the lower-priced listings, which pushes the average down while hollowing out the available pool.

The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Deck Case declined VWAP $210.54 -> $194.68 (-7.53%) on 247 units and $48,086 in revenue across 54 orders. Like Commander Masters above, the supply data tells a tighter story: avg qty 68.5 -> 59.9 (-12.55%), sellers stable at 25.8 to 25.0 (-3.23%), and sell-through of 4.1232 — the highest on this week’s sell-through leaderboard. 247 units across only 54 orders means buyers are loading up in bulk, and the current pace would drain available inventory quickly if it continues.

The Hobbit Collector Booster Display eased VWAP $771.77 -> $727.62 (-5.72%) on 73 units and $53,116 in revenue across 54 orders. Supply is essentially flat — avg qty 168.5 -> 167.3 (-0.70%) — with sellers dipping slightly from 21.0 to 19.7 (-6.50%). Sell-through of 0.4364 is moderate. At $727+ per unit this remains one of the highest-priced sealed products on the market, and the modest pullback reads more like post-release settling than any kind of structural weakness.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Team Up slipped VWAP $40.81 -> $38.62 (-5.37%) on 92 units and $3,553 in revenue across 27 orders. Inventory is coming down — avg qty 200.9 -> 183.4 (-8.70%) — but sellers ticked up from 49.0 to 50.1 (+2.19%). Sell-through of 0.5016 shows about half of new supply is being absorbed. The price pullback may reflect this crossover product finding its steady-state level as initial launch demand normalizes.

Avatar The Last Airbender Jumpstart Booster Display dipped VWAP $81.24 -> $77.25 (-4.92%) on 102 units and $7,879 in revenue across 51 orders. Supply barely moved — avg qty 396.4 -> 383.8 (-3.18%) — while sellers increased slightly from 65.6 to 67.5 (+2.87%). Sell-through of 0.2658 suggests supply is comfortably ahead of demand. With nearly 384 units on average sitting in inventory and new sellers still entering, this product needs a meaningful demand pickup to stabilize price.

On Manapool, Avatar The Last Airbender Play Booster Pack (Manapool) led declines at VWAP $6.00 -> $5.15 (-14.17%) on 10 units. Outlaws of Thunder Junction Play Booster Display (Manapool) fell VWAP $171.72 -> $149.95 (-12.68%) on 6 units. Secrets of Strixhaven Commander Deck Witherbloom Pestilence (Manapool) slipped VWAP $47.25 -> $43.89 (-7.11%) on 3 units. Secret of Strixhaven Play Booster Pack (Manapool) was down VWAP $5.10 -> $4.76 (-6.80%) on 26 units, and Secret of Strixhaven Collector Booster Pack (Manapool) eased VWAP $41.56 -> $39.37 (-5.26%) on 10 units.

Supply / Velocity Read-Through

The TCGPlayer sell-through leaderboard this week is dominated by Commander-era products running hot. The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Deck Case and Commander Masters Collector Booster Box posted sell-through ratios above 3.8, meaning demand outpaced new listings by nearly 4x. Both products also appear on the decliners list — prices are falling while inventory drains, which points to sellers undercutting each other in a thinning pool. The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle earth Commander Decks Set of 4 came in at sell-through 2.0445 with avg qty 114.0, a more balanced but still demand-heavy position.

On the other end, several products are stacking inventory faster than buyers can clear it. Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Deck Blight Curse sits at avg qty 376.3 with sell-through 0.0904 — for roughly every unit sold, eleven new listings appeared. Avatar The Last Airbender Jumpstart Booster Display carries avg qty 383.8 with sell-through 0.2658, and Edge of Eternities Play Booster Display saw its inventory grow 34% to avg qty 295.8 despite being a price gainer. Supply is arriving faster than demand can absorb it for these products.

Phyrexia All Will Be One Set Boo…1.066456.3-9.58%-16.13%

The tightest inventory situations on TCGPlayer this week are Commander Masters Collector Booster Box (avg qty 36.0, sell-through 3.8662) and The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Deck Case (avg qty 59.9, sell-through 4.1232). Phyrexia All Will Be One Set Booster Display (avg qty 56.3, sell-through 1.0664) and FINAL FANTASY Chocobo Bundle (avg qty 124.2, sellers down 27.11%) also show meaningful supply contraction.

Heavy inventory on TCGPlayer sits with Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Deck Blight Curse (avg qty 376.3, growing +14.88%), Avatar The Last Airbender Jumpstart Booster Display (avg qty 383.8, sell-through 0.2658), and Edge of Eternities Play Booster Display (avg qty 295.8, up +33.78% despite price gains). These products have deep listing pools that will take sustained demand to draw down.

Seller geography continues to lean Pacific Northwest. Washington leads at 16.3% of tracked inventory, with Seattle alone accounting for 16,366 units. Idaho follows at 10.9% (Coeur d’Alene contributing 8,155 units) and Oregon at 5.0%. Combined, WA/ID/OR represent 32.2% of listed supply. California holds third place overall at 8.1%, followed by New York at 6.7% and Florida at 6.6% as the largest East Coast contributors. Canadian sellers in Quebec account for 3.6% of inventory, with Ontario adding another 0.9%. Coverage sits at 100% across 601 located sellers.

Yuna Hope of Spira Borderless Chocobo Track Foil carries a baseline_small_supply flag — supply snapshot data is unavailable, so the +14.70% price move cannot be validated by inventory signals. Treat as low confidence. May 29 was TCGPlayer’s Mayhem sale (~4,700 units, $779K). The other six days averaged around 786 units, which is right in line with last week. Most of the topline growth is Mayhem doing Mayhem things.

Opinionated Takeaways

Edge of Eternities is heating up set-wide

Three Edge of Eternities products landed in the gainers — Counter Intelligence (+17.49%), the Set of 2 (+10.17%), and the Play Booster Display (+8.14%). The Commander products are tightening on supply while even the Play Booster Display held price gains through a 34% inventory increase. This looks like genuine demand building across the set rather than a single-SKU anomaly. If you’ve been watching Edge of Eternities sealed, the supply trends on the Commander products favor acting sooner rather than later. Grain of salt, not investment advice.

Commander Masters and Lost Caverns: don’t let the red arrows fool you

Both Commander Masters Collector Booster Box and Lost Caverns Commander Deck Case are declining in price but posting sell-through ratios near 4x. That’s a pattern worth paying attention to: when prices drop while inventory genuinely drains, it often means the market is working through the last wave of motivated sellers. Once those lower-priced listings clear, the remaining supply base is thinner and the next price move tends to be upward. The supply mechanics here are more interesting than the headline price decline suggests.

FINAL FANTASY premium tier keeps finding buyers

FINAL FANTASY Collector Booster Display at $1,172.79 VWAP and Chocobo Bundle at $239.68 are both moving real volume (49 and 79 units respectively). The Chocobo Bundle’s 27% seller drop and 0.64 sell-through are the standout numbers — the pool of willing sellers is shrinking while demand holds steady. FINAL FANTASY sealed appears to have a buyer base willing to pay premium prices, and the supply side is thinning to match. Whether that premium is sustainable long-term depends on whether new supply enters the channel.

Mayhem giveth, Mayhem distorteth

You already know May 29 was Mayhem — 4,700+ units and $779K in a single day will do that to your weekly numbers. The thing about sale days is they don’t create new demand so much as yank it forward: buyers who were circling pull the trigger, sellers who were holding firm drop their ask, and everything lands on one date. The other six days this week looked a lot like last week. I wouldn’t put much weight on the 47% unit growth headline — the individual product trends above paint a more honest picture of where the market actually is right now.

What To Watch Next Week

1

Commander Masters Collector Booster Box supply is at avg qty 36.0 and draining 19% week-over-week with sell-through near 4x. If inventory continues to fall at this rate, we could see a supply-driven price reversal within the next few weeks. Watch whether the price stabilizes or if sellers keep cutting into a shrinking pool.

2

Edge of Eternities is the only set with three products in the gainers this week. The Play Booster Display’s growing inventory (avg qty up 34%) is the weak link — keep an eye on whether demand absorbs the influx and the set-wide momentum holds, or whether the supply buildup starts to weigh on price.

3

FINAL FANTASY Chocobo Bundle seller count dropped 27% in two weeks. If that pace continues, the remaining supply thins rapidly and the product moves from “gaining” to “scarce.” A sustained seller count below 50 would be significant for a product at this price point — watch whether new sellers step in or the exit accelerates.

Calculation Notes & Disclaimers

  • Metrics are based on MTGsold internal sales/listing snapshots for the report window only.
  • avg qty = average of daily inventory (most complete scrape per day, by seller coverage), not a sum of all intraday listings.
  • sell-through = units sold this week / avg qty this week; values above 1 indicate inventory turned over multiple times.
  • Percentage changes are week-over-week versus the prior-week baseline; very small baselines can exaggerate % moves.
  • Listings are marketplace snapshots and may include relists, temporary removals, and scrape gaps, so flagged low-confidence moves should be treated cautiously.
  • Marketplace sections are segmented to avoid cross-stream blending of metrics.
