Weekly Report (Mar 9–15, 2026)
Weekly Market Pulse
We just wrapped up a massive week in the market, where the FINAL FANTASY Scene Box Camp Comrades made the biggest move, climbing from a VWAP of $53.10 to $64.44 (+21.35%). Among the 77 products with sufficient activity this week, we saw a total item revenue of $727,279.86 across 4,877 orders.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets continue to dominate the conversation. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander Deck Turtle Power was the week’s highest-unit-volume product with 570 units moved, while the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collector Booster Display took the crown for the highest revenue at $108,550.22. Interestingly, 4 of the top 12 gainers this week were Commander precons, signaling that the format remains a primary driver for moving the needle on prices.
Top Gainers
Leading the pack was the FINAL FANTASY Scene Box Camp Comrades, which saw its price jump 21.35% ($53.10 -> $64.44) as its average weekly supply contracted -48.21% (avg qty 59.9 -> 31.0). Not far behind was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Bundle, which rose 20.16% (VWAP $144.81 -> $174.01). This move looks sustainable given the healthy demand of 44 units sold despite a 31.11% increase in the average number of sellers (6.4 -> 8.4).
In the world of precons, the Universes Beyond Fallout Mutant Menace Commander Deck showed a gain of 11.83% (VWAP $143.77 -> $160.78). However, I have to flag this one as low confidence; the data shows low supply coverage and a probable data artifact, so treat that specific price swing with caution. Meanwhile, the Marvels Spider Man Bundle climbed 10.11% (VWAP $44.58 -> $49.09) as average weekly supply dipped from 144.4 to 138.4 units. Rounding out the top movers, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Prerelease Pack saw a 9.82% increase ($25.91 -> $28.46) supported by a solid sell-through of 0.924.
Top Decliners
The most significant drop this week came from The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle earth Commander Deck Elven Council, which fell -21.48% (VWAP $55.30 -> $43.42). This looks like a classic supply-side correction, as the average weekly supply rose 34.53% (avg qty 59.6 -> 80.1). Its sibling, the Food and Fellowship deck, also slipped -13.50% (VWAP $59.38 -> $51.36) even as 160 units changed hands.
We also saw a broad restock for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle, which led to an -11.08% price correction (VWAP $66.84 -> $59.43). When average weekly supply jumps 127.00% (avg qty 66.1 -> 150.1), prices almost always have to give way to accommodate the new inventory. Similarly, the Avatar The Last Airbender Play Booster Display dropped -11.06% (VWAP $136.47 -> $121.37) as 167 units were sold into a market where average weekly supply grew 10.18%.
Supply & Velocity Read-Through
The supply story this week is headlined by two major restocks. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle saw the largest supply increase at 127.00%, followed closely by the Secret of Strixhaven Play Booster Display, which saw average weekly supply jump 100.86% (avg qty 199.9 -> 401.4). These are broad, seller-corroborated moves rather than single-day blips. We also saw significant supply increases for Universes Beyond The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle earth Set Booster Boxes (+91.40%) and Magic The Gathering Foundations Play Booster Displays (+64.29%).
Overall, Commander precon supply was relatively stable, with the average weekly supply for the category shifting by just -0.74%. Velocity remains exceptionally high for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander Deck Turtle Power, which maintained a sell-through of 2.1947. To put that in perspective, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collector Booster Display also showed high velocity with a sell-through of 3.043.
What to Watch Next Week
Keep a close eye on the products where supply is tightening but the price hasn’t reacted yet. The Bloomburrow Commander Deck Family Matters saw average weekly supply fall -20.37% (avg qty 162.0 -> 129.0), yet the price stayed flat with a -0.28% move. Similarly, the Aetherdrift Collector Booster Display saw a -20.27% supply contraction while price only nudged up 3.36%. Finally, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander Deck Turtle Power Case is one to monitor; supply is down -19.59% while the price has barely moved (+0.99%). If demand holds, these are the primary candidates for a price correction upward.
Calculation Notes & Disclaimers
All metrics in this report are based on the 77 products that met our minimum activity thresholds for the week of March 9–15, 2026. Price changes are calculated using Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP). Supply metrics represent the weekly average of daily listing snapshots. Data for the Universes Beyond Fallout Mutant Menace Commander Deck and Duskmourn House of Horror Play Booster Display are flagged for low coverage; please use caution when interpreting these specific movements.
See you next week.
Calculation Notes & Disclaimers Continued …
- Metrics are based on MTGsold internal sales/listing snapshots for the report window only.
avg qty= average of daily inventory (most complete scrape per day, by seller coverage), not a sum of all intraday listings.sell-through=units sold this week / avg qty this week; values above 1 indicate inventory turned over multiple times.- Percentage changes are week-over-week versus the prior-week baseline; very small baselines can exaggerate % moves.
- Listings are marketplace snapshots and may include relists, temporary removals, and scrape gaps, so flagged low-confidence moves should be treated cautiously.
- Marketplace sections are segmented to avoid cross-stream blending of metrics.
